Vibration motor for sonic toothbrush

Vibration motor for sonic toothbrush

1. How Sonic Toothbrush Works

What is sound waves? Sound waves, mechanical longitudinal waves propagating in elastic media, have frequencies between 20 and 20,000 Hz and can be heard by human ears.

The working principle of the sonic toothbrush is: relying on the high-speed movement of the micro motor, the brush head is oscillated up and down at high speed to generate mechanical vibration, that is, sound waves are generated.

Sonic toothbrushes are suitable for vibration frequencies between 166-666 Hz (10000-37000 beats/min), and different frequency sonic toothbrushes achieve different levels of tooth cleaning. The cleaning effect of a sonic toothbrush is proportional to the frequency and amplitude of the sound wave.

2. Principle of sound wave generation

(1) Principle of high-speed micro motor eccentric vibration:

This principle is more common and widely used. Generally, the motor speed is up to 30,000 rpm, and higher speed will affect the life of the motor itself. The amplitude and noise generated by acoustic vibration vary with different motor and toothbrush structure designs. There is no absolute statement.

Sonic toothbrush function

Oral cleaning: unique tooth stain softening system, directed to remove residual food, plaque system.

Dental Beauty: Safe care, protect the teeth from the natural enamel integrity, and achieve the elasticity of the gums.

Gum Massage: A professional and safe massage experience for gums. Promote microcirculation of the gums, prevent gum atrophy, reduce gum bleeding and oral ulcers. The teeth are not allergic to cold and heat.

Oral greening: Sonic toothbrush removes bacteria from teeth, gums, periodontal and tongue coatings, leaving the mouth fresh and comfortable, and fresh breath.

The sonic toothbrush usually used the strong vibration motor like our cylindrical 6mm or 7mm motor or cored motor.
