Motor Usage Note

1. When the micro DC motor is working under its nominal rated voltage, the overall performance is excellent. It is recommended that the working voltage of the vibrating device circuit be designed as close as possible to the rated voltage.

2. The control module that supplies power to the DC motor should consider the output impedance as small as possible to prevent the output voltage from drastically decreasing during load and affecting the vibration.

3. When the cylindrical vibration motor is inspected or tested for stall current, the stall time should not be too long (less than 5 seconds), because all input power is converted into heat energy (P=12R) during stalling, which may result in too long time. The coil temperature rise is high and deformed, which affects performance.

4. If the vibration motor used for moible phone,When designing the positioning card slot, the vibration motor with the mounting bracket should not have too much clearance with the mobile phone case. Otherwise, additional vibration (mechanical noise) may occur.

The rubber cover can effectively prevent mechanical noise, but should pay attention to the casing. The positioning groove and the rubber sleeve should adopt an interference fit, otherwise the vibration output of the vibration motor will be affected and the vibration sensitivity will decrease.

5. Avoid being close to the strong magnetic area during transit or use. Otherwise, it may cause magnetic distortion of the motor magnet and affect the vibration motor performance.

6. Pay attention to soldering temperature and soldering time during soldering. It is recommended to use 320 °C for 1-2 seconds. If the time is too long and the temperature is too high, the lead insulation may be damaged.

7. Remove the motor from the package or avoid pulling the lead during the welding process. It is also not allowed to bend the lead at many angles, otherwise the lead may be damaged.
